Broomfield Transportation Safety Action Plan - Virtual Open House

Provide your comments on draft recommendations for improving safety throughout Broomfield's transportation network!

Can't make it to the in-person Broomfield Transportation Safety Plan (BTSAP) open house? You can still participate in a virtual open house! From April 21 to May 7, you can provide comments on draft recommendations for improving safety throughout Broomfield’s transportation network on Broomfield Voice. Whether you walk, bike, roll, or drive, it’s important you can get to your destination safely.

Introduction:

Welcome to Konveio, the public engagement tool! This platform allows you to review and provide feedback on draft recommendations for the Broomfield Transportation Safety Action Plan. We're excited to hear your thoughts!

Here’s how to use Konveio:

Step 1: Navigating the Content

  • Scroll through the page's content. You’ll find posters that provide an overview of the project, key insights from the crash data analysis, and the draft recommendations.
  • Click on any document or board to view it in detail.

Step 3: Leave Your Feedback - Prioritizations

  • The project team would like to hear which of the draft recommendations you would prioritize. Please select and comment on up to five of the draft recommendations!
  • To leave a comment, scroll forward to explore the draft recommendations. Hover over a specific area of the poster (notice where it says "Place your comments here!"). You’ll notice icons appear, allowing you to click and add a comment.
  • A text box will open where you can write your feedback or input. Feel free to provide as much detail as you’d like!
  • Please select and comment on up to five of the draft recommendations!

Step 4: Submitting Your Comments

  • After typing your comment, click "Submit." Your input will be saved and shared with the design team for review.

Idea
Having a signal detect bikes/pedestrians would make crossings feel more fluid, especially on bike/walking paths. Also, giving more priority for these groups to cross at lights would give a sense that people outside of cars are being considered too, especially at times when the road is clear/there's not many cars at a particular crossing.
