Answer
More trails please! Beautify this city and promote healthy lifestyles
Idea
There needs to be a connector trail from the W. Zora Bike lane to the new parking lot of the mountain bike park. Zora west of Main is very narrow with no shoulder and heavy traffic. It will be a hazard and very dangerous for individuals and children trying to get to the new park from the neighborhoods to the east
Idea
The Truck route needs to be changed from Tamko Products on St. Louis to go North to Zora and then east to 249 instead of going South on St. Louis adding to the already congested traffic along that corridor.
Printable bike maps
Idea
Not sure why you are not considering using Shifferdecker Ave as the west corridor as it is already five lanes most of the way. This would save millions of dollars.
Question
There are already sidewalks along Connecticut to 44th Street. Are you proposing to extend the sidewalks into Leawood?
Answer
You should build a trail to connedt landreth park trail with the Frisco at North Street,
Answer
I think improving an east west corridor would be beneficial. especially the industrial park between Webb City and Joplin.
Answer
Transit system is very good as is.
Idea
You should figure out how to connect the Mohuska trail to the pedestrian sidewalk by the library. people would be able to ride their bikes all the way from shoal creek to Center Creek.
Idea
The exit and entrance ramp onto highway 59 at the Carthage exit needds to be a priority. It is dangerous.
Question
What kind of beautification projects have you come up with?
Question
Is there a typo under "Funded and Illustrative Needs" in the line "Capacity improvements from loop 49 (ridge line) to I-49 south"? Shouldn't it read (range line)?
